Laser engraving is a process where material is removed from an object by use of a laser beam to produce a mark. Laser marking gives a unique “high-tech” look to your item and is permanent The amount of material removed depends upon the type of laser and the settings used by the operator.

WHAT ITEMS CAN BE LASER ENGRAVED?

Imprint Image uses a CO2 laser which produces a mark on plastics, wood, glass, leather and other materials. A black mark can be produced on steel and some other metals using a metal marking chemical that is applied before and removed after marking, resulting in a permanent dark mark on these materials. Due to the various materials available, results may vary depending on the product material make up. Our experienced laser engraving operators can provide expert advice on what and how to laser engrave an item.
